Daniël Lohues (born Emmen, The Netherlands, 16 Februari 1971) is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from the village of Erica in the Dutch province of Drenthe. He sings almost exclusively in the regional dialect of Drenthe.
Lohues gained prominence in The Netherlands as the frontman of pop/rock outift, SKIK (1994-2004, six albums). The demise of SKIK marked the start of his solo career. Lohues became known for his brand of 'Dutch Americana'
